Separate The State is a New York Based political movement whose mission is to make New York votes count again by separating New York into 3 regions, NYC, Upstate NY & Long Island. New York’s 29 electoral college votes typically go to a Democratic candidate because of the massive amount of voters living in NYC. This makes it difficult for voters in Upstate NY & on Long Island feel that their votes really count. The founder of Separate The State Jesse a.k.a Salty is going to take us inside the movement and break it down for us.
